Set Your Standards
Don’t forget – standard time resumes November 5, 2017. So remember to set your clocks back one hour at 2:00 a.m. Don’t be behind the times – fall back and enjoy your extra hour of sleep.

Back to School Safety
As our community kids go back to school, we would like to remind drivers to keep an eye out for young pedestrians and obey the speed limits in our community, 5 - 15 MPH. With a busy parking lot in the morning and afternoon, please drive slowly. Please obey all posted stop signs and driving laws regarding school buses. Let’s all work together to make our community the safest it can be.

Resident Referral
Make extra cash just in time for the holidays & refer your friends, family, co-workers, etc. to River Oaks Apartments. If they lease with us, you will receive a $300 referral fee. It’s that easy!

Guest Suite
With the upcoming holiday season you may find yourself with a houseguest. If you have more guests than expected and need an extra place for them to stay, you can rent our guest suite. If you wish to rent the guest suite, please contact us for more information and availability.

Food Drive
We would like to take this opportunity to be one of the first to wish you the best of the holiday season. In the spirit of the season we are hosting a food drive for a local charity. Those of you who would like to help can drop off non perishable food items at the office between November 1st and November 20th. We will take care to see that the food is delivered to a nearby food bank. As always, thank you in advance for your generosity.

Maintenance Corner
Toilet Maintenance – non flushable items: There are a lot of myths swirling around about what is flushable and what is not. We want to clear up any confusion. Paper towels, diapers, wet wipes, Q-tips, tissues, feminine products, latex products, and Kleenex are NOT flushable. Flushing these items can cause severe sewer blockages and major inconveniences.

Renters’ Insurance
Your home contains the most valuable possessions you own so keep them protected. It is a requirement that every resident have renter’s insurance. This can be obtained at a very reasonable rate. The community’s insurance policy does not cover your personal belongings. We have brochures in the leasing office if interested.

Social Gatherings
Stay tuned!
