A Community Garage Sale

Spring Cleaning? Why not get rid of all those unworn clothes, packed-away knick-knacks, and other unused houselhold items. Join us in our community-wide yard sale. We'll provide tables, drinks, munchies, and advertising for the event. All you need to do is bring the items you'll be selling and some warm bodies to do the selling. More details to follow soon.

What Does April Mean?

The word April may come from several sources. Some say the month is named for the goddess Aphrodite, Latin, Apriis. (Except Aphrodite is the Greek name for the Roman goddess Venus.) Others argue that the word April comes from the Latin, aperire, meaning "to open." Either way, the name "April" connotes beauty, life, and new beginnings!

Don't Wear Out Your Welcome…

Your welcome mat, that is. Carpet remnants and indoor rugs don't last very long. Make sure to use a proper outdoor welcome mat outside your door. It will look better.

Now that the weather is so nice, a lot of residents are leaving their windows open. Please be considerate of this. Loud music, loud TVs, slammed doors, and raised voices can be very bothersome to other residents. Please try to keep your noise levels reasonable.
